IntelliKin Terms of Service

The short version

IntelliKin is an early beta. It will change, occasionally break, and sometimes get things wrong. By using it you agree to these terms, to use it responsibly and lawfully, and to treat its output as helpful assistance rather than a source of truth. If you don’t agree, please don’t use IntelliKin.

Who we are

IntelliKin (“we”, “us”) makes an AI companion that captures spoken commitments and turns them into a scheduled task list. These terms govern your use of our website and the beta app. Together with our Privacy Policy, they form the agreement between you and us. Questions: contact@intellikin.com.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use IntelliKin. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

The beta

IntelliKin is provided as a beta for evaluation. Features may appear, change, or disappear without notice; availability isn’t guaranteed; and data created during the beta may be reset as the product evolves. We’ll give beta users reasonable notice before anything that would delete your data permanently, but you shouldn’t rely on IntelliKin as the sole record of anything important.

Recording and acceptable use

IntelliKin captures audio to do its job, and recording other people carries legal responsibilities that are yours, not ours. You agree to:

• Comply with all laws that apply to recording conversations, including one- and two-party consent rules, and to get consent where it’s required.
• Use IntelliKin only for lawful purposes, and never to harass, surveil, or harm anyone, or to capture people who have a reasonable expectation of privacy without their agreement.
• Not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service, and not use it to build a competing product.

Your content

Your transcripts, summaries, tasks, and the other data IntelliKin creates for you are yours. You grant us the permission we need to process that data to operate the service — nothing more. How we handle it, and the controls you have, are described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

If you enrol your voice, IntelliKin creates a biometric voiceprint of you — a mathematical signature used solely to tell your speech apart from other voices it hears. You consent to our creating and storing that voiceprint to operate the service, you confirm the voice you enrol is your own, and you can remove it by deleting your account. We explain how it’s handled in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

IntelliKin works alongside services we don’t control — for example Google Calendar, if you connect it. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we’re not responsible for them. If you connect Google Calendar, we read it to plan your tasks around your schedule; we never create, edit, or delete anything on your calendar.

Our intellectual property

IntelliKin, its software, design, and brand are ours and remain ours. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.

No warranties

IntelliKin is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It is not a medical, legal, financial, or emergency service, and its output can be incomplete or wrong — always use your own judgement for anything that matters. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IntelliKin and its team won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or missed commitments, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using IntelliKin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we need to for the security or integrity of the service. You can export or delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

As the beta evolves, these terms will too. We’ll post updates here and, for anything material, tell beta users before it takes effect. Continuing to use IntelliKin after a change means you accept the updated terms.
